 Number 001

CHAIRMAN ROBIN TAYLOR called the Judiciary Committee meeting to
order at 1:25 p.m. The first order of business was HB 201.
HB 201 PRISONER LITIGATION AND APPEALS

SENATOR ADAMS moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 201
(FIN)am be moved out of committee with individual recommendations.
There being no objection, the motion carried.
HB 292 FISH & GAME ENFORCEMENT

SENATOR TAYLOR announced he spoke with the sponsor and planned to
hold the bill over the interim for further review. He expressed
concern about the provision in the bill that gives the state
troopers the power to search without a warrant and would allow them
to enter into remote cabins and boats, without leaving
 notification of their entry.
                HB 87 AUTHORIZING YOUTH COURTS

SENATOR ADAMS expressed concern that HB 87 allows for juvenile
justice grants, but has a zero fiscal note. He moved and asked
unanimous consent that HB 87 am be moved from committee with
individual recommendations. There being no objection, the motion
 carried.
